Pairing Paintings with Plays
Playhouse on the Green continues to present the art of local artists with a new exhibit in it's lobby. Working with the theme of the current show, Six Degrees of Separation, Playhouse Exhibit Curator Suzanne Kachmar has chosen the abstract art of Lisa Oswald and Michael Lowenbein. Patrons and visitors are welcome to view the work 2 hours prior to each performance, or upon appointment. The work will be on exhibit through the month of May. Kachmar also has reproduced two large-scale works by 20th Century Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky, which appear on stage in Six Degrees of Separation as part of the set. Tickets to Six Degrees can be purchased by calling 866-811-4111.
