Mysteries of Bridgeport Past: Crime Stories that Will Chill Your Spine. Whose body was found in the old trunk? Who was thrown down an old coal chute? On Wednesday, October 28 at 6:30PM, Mary Witkowski, Bridgeport City Historian and the Head of the Historical Collections, Bridgeport Public Library and local acting talent from Playhouse on the Green will give accounts of historic 19th and 20th Century crimes in Bridgeport and their lurid stories.
