“A most entertaining and uninhibited cast presents a production filled with phantoms as well as a Transylvanian transvestite….The movie is no comparison to this live stage show….This wickedly-wild production is a definite treat for fans of The Rocky Horror Show.”
- Joanne Rochman, The Acorn Papers
“A visit with the cast of The Rocky Horror Show may be just what the mad scientist doctor ordered….this is definitely not your every day boy meets girl and then they fall in love musical. If you’re feeling brave, venture over to Playhouse on the Green…You just might find yourself on stage doing ‘The Time Warp’ in your underwear, wearing a red boa.”

Since this sexy parody of horror and science fiction films premiered onstage in London in 1973, The Rocky Horror Show has become a rock ‘n’ roll musical phenomenon around the world, and now it is poised to take Bridgeport by storm! Featuring a Transylvanian transvestite, a cryogenically preserved motorbiker, and an untraditional version of Frankenstein’s monster, Rocky Horror is perfect Halloween-time fun, whether you grew up doing “The Time Warp” or you’ve never experienced this classic kitsch. One special midnight performance takes place each week (see full performance schedule below).
