Box Office

Tickets may be purchased on-line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Tickets also may be purchased by calling TheaterMania at 866-811-4111.

(except New Year’s Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day).

Purchasing tickets in advance is strongly recommended as performances may sell out.
To purchase tickets you’ll need a credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express). Please Note: all sales are final and no refunds or exchanges are allowed.

  • E-Tickets:
    When you choose this option; after purchasing your ticket(s) on-line, you will be able to print your ticket(s) right from your computer using any inkjet or laser printer. For your protection, additional identity verification may be requested by Playhouse Staff or the House Manager. In the event you forget to bring your e-ticket, you may be asked to go to the Box Office window to get your ticket(s) re-printed.
  • Will-Call: Will-Call tickets are held at the box office for pick up the day of the performance. Tickets may be picked up 2 hours prior to curtain time. It is suggested that tickets be picked up no later than 15 minutes prior to curtain. If you would like to pickup your tickets earlier you will need to make special arrangements with the box office to schedule a date and time. All tickets purchased within 10 days of the performance will be left at the “Will Call” window. To pick up your tickets at the window, please present a valid picture I.D.

Convenience Charge A $2.50 convenience charge is added to all tickets for the processing of your ticket purchase. $9 convenience charge is added to all Playhouse Passes. Performance Cancellation Refund

If events outside of the theatre’s control (e.g., power failure, inclement weather) force the theatre to cancel a performance, we will issue the ticket holder an exchange for a future performance. Lost Tickets In the event that a customer loses a ticket Playhouse on the Green will replace the tickets at no charge with proper customer ID. Directions & Parking

Directions From Fairfield County on I-95 (from the South) Exit 27 (Lafayette Blvd.) and continue on to the 3rd traffic light. Turn left onto Lafayette Blvd. and proceed to the 4th traffic light. Turn right onto State Street. Proceed two and a half blocks. The Playhouse is on your right.

From New Haven County I-95 (from the north) Exit 27 (Lafayette Blvd.), bear right on the ramp. Go to the 3rd traffic light and turn right onto State Street. Proceed two and a half blocks. The Playhouse is on your right.

From Route 8/25 - South (Route 8 joins the Route 25 Connector just below Trumbull)
Take Exit 2 (Fairfield Avenue). Proceed straight ahead to the 3rd traffic light and turn left onto State Street at “T” intersection. Proceed three and a half blocks. The Playhouse is on your right.

From the Bridgeport Train Station (Amtrak & MetroNorth)
Exit the train terminal and walk across Water Street. Bear left one block and turn right onto State Street. The Playhouse is one and a half blocks up a small rise on your left across from McLevy Green.

From the Port Jefferson Ferry Exit the ferry to Water Street. Walk across Water Street, bear right and go left at the first street (State Street). The Playhouse is one and a half blocks up on your left across from McLevy Green.

Parking Directions to Parking Lot: After passing the Playhouse on your right, keep going East on State St. toward Main Street. At the first intersection, turn right onto Main Street. Take your first right onto Cesar Batalla Way. The entrance to the parking lot is on the left on Cesar Batalla Way. The parking lot is shared with Ralph & Rich’s Restaurant.
